Our magnetic stirring couplings can be used in the laboratory under vacuum for glass apparatus and in industry, pilot plant, production and research up to 700 bar. We supply our magnetic stirring drives to users from research, industry, laboratories, colleges, universities, apparatus builders and designers. We convert existing agitators as required. The appropriate selection of materials also makes it possible to use them under aggressive chemical conditions. Construction:
- Magnetic coupling with enclosed drive magnet (no rotating parts outside except the drive shaft stump)
- Housing turned from the solid
- Connection thread M18x1 (L=20)
- Internal magnet pressure-resistant welded in
- Output shaft with ball bearings in steel, optionally hybrid materials, or plain bearings depending on the area of application
- Speed decrease at the output shaft via reed contact
- Pulse generator on the output shaft • Side valve as purge gas connection
- Sealing to the reactor cover either with o-ring or cutting ring
Materials:
- WNr. 1.4435 can be used up to 200 bar
- WNr. 2.4602 can be used up to 250 bar
- WNr. 1.4980 can be used up to 700 bar
- other high-alloy steels on request; also zirconium, titanium etc. possible
Advantages:
- Easy bearing change by the operator possible
- Due to the simple internal structure, it is possible to change from ball bearings to plain bearings at any time
- Apart from the seal to the reactor cover, no other seals are mounted inside the magnetic stirring coupling
